The President appointed the Newsletter Editor to start planning for the new website. A committee was formed and ideas for inclusion in the website were generated. We focused on activities including meetings, field trips, & volunteer activities, as well as places to bird in the Coastal Bend.  We included a membership form and a volunteer form. We included a link to our newsletter and to EarthShare of Texas. We also created a CBAS email account that is monitored by our secretary. We were able to incorporate excellent photographs of birds of our area that were provided by supporters of CBAS. We were able to hire a web designer who created the web pages from our direction. We purchased a domain name (coastalbendaudubon.org), and 1 year of web hosting. We will be purchasing software for maintaining the website & uploading the files to the server.
